We planned our topic together after finding lots of old artefacts in our class. 

 

       

       

 

Anderson shelters 

We learnt about anderson shelters that people had in their gardens to shelter during air raids. We designed and made our own Anderson shelters! It was very tricky! 

 

      

   

         

 

WW2 museum 

We visited the Royal Welsh Regimental Museum in Brecon as part of our topic. We learnt about rationing, evacuees, air raid wardens and had the chance to sit in a real Anderson shelter!
