Time Machine

Our topic this term is Time Machine! 

A time machine showed up in our classroom filled with items from the past and the future.

We came together with Year 1 and thought up some ideas for our new topic.

We visited Swansea Museum to meet Mrs Mahoney. She told us what life was like in the Victorian times and showed us how different household items have changed over time. 

 

We were invited to the Gower Heritage Centre to learn about living in Wales in the past. We learnt all about being a blacksmith and how the mill worked. We also then printed our own piece of artwork.

 

A dinosaur came to our school and forgot to take their eggs! So we went on a dinosaur egg hunt and cracked them open to find out which dinosaur was inside. 

Swansea museum let us borrow some of their fossils. We became palaeontologists and examined each fossil to see what they were. 

Santa came to visit and we hand a magical time at our school winter wonderland!
