Autumn

We were so lucky to have taken part in Big Foot Stop motion animation project. We enjoyed making our own models to take part in our films. We all had different roles and thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. Watch our video below of our final class movie.

Today we made our own science experiment, finding out which shaped leaves fell the quickest. We found out the bigger the shape of the leaf the longer it took to fall. Most of us were right in our predictions.

What a lovely start to the our term, our first Ospreys session. We enjoyed playing ball games, practising our passes and superb team work.

We have kick started our Autumn term to a fantastic topic. Woodland Adventure. We have been super lucky to have Dawn Thomas come in to our woodland areas and teach us all about the animals, trees and plants. We had so much fun and learnt lots even dodging thunderstorms.

We made graphs in pairs  about our favourite animals and answered questions.

Dosbarth Horton had to search for their favourite looking leaves, have a friend take a picture of them holding it. Then use adjectives to describe it to help them write their shape poem.

We had a great trip to Penllergare woods! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the brand new areas. We loved relaxing in the hammocks, playing in the mud kitchen, building our own dens. We loved our walk down to the waterfall. We also explored lots of animals habitats.
