We started our topic this week which is called 'Time Machine'.

We received a box with clues to help us figure out what our topic was about, the children then came up with some ideas of what they want to learn over the term which can been seen in the mind map below.

We had a great time on our trip to Swansea Museum. We met Mrs Mahoney who told us all about life in the Victorian ages. We looked at the different types of things they used back then and compared them to what we use now. We'll be using what we have learnt today during our learning over the next few weeks.

           

Shwmae Day 2025

We went on our trip to St Fagans and visited a Victorian classroom. We then compared it to our current classroom and designed classrooms for the future.

       

We've learnt about Diwali and the story of Rama & Sita. The children made diva lamps out of clay and rengoli patterns using coloured rice.

         

We listened to instructions as part of our text type and made pumpkin soup, we then wrote our own set of instructions as a class to take home to tell our families.

          

 

Spooky day 2025

We decorated spooky biscuits, had a mini disco and some Halloween fun with Mrs Welsh.

 

Children in Need 2025

 

We had a fabulous day celebrating Children in Need today. We made our own Pudsey bear ears and joined in the Joe Wicks live fitness fun lesson.
