Super Stars 2018/2019

Here you will find our weekly Super Stars. Keep a look out for your child.

 

7th September 2018.

 

This weeks Super Star went to Charlie. Charlie has just moved to Blaenymaes Primary School and he has settled in well, it's like he's been here from the start. He has made many new friendships and has worked really hard on his first week with us. Da iawn Charlie! frown

 

14th September 2018

 

This weeks Super Star went to Emilia. Emilia has settled in well to full time school in reception and is a very friendly and polite little girl. Emilia is always willing to help others and always has a smile on her face. Gwaith da Emilia! frown

 

21st September 2018

 

This weeks Super Star went to Zakk. Zakk has made lots of improvement this week in all aspects of the school day. He is happy coming into class and is becoming more confident around his peers. He is also enjoying using the numicon in Maths and learning lots of letters and sounds. Da iawn Zakk, keep it up! frown

 

28th September 2018

 

This weeks Super Star went to Logan. Logan has been working really hard in Maths this week and wrote his numbers to 100 independently. He then went onto to count in 100's to 1000 then 1000's to 10,000 and 10,000's to 100,000. Not only did Logan get Super Star this week for his hard work but he was also awarded the Boscar. Bendigedig Logan! frown

 

5th October 2018

 

This weeks Super Star went to Pheobe. Pheobe has blown mine and Miss Dawod's socks off this week with her reading. She is recognising all her sounds and can blend them independently. She has made great progress since starting year 1 and I know she will continue to impress us. Gwaith da Pheobe! frown

 

12th October 2018

 

This weeks Super Star went to Kian. Kian has worked really well this week and created a brilliant story map for our topic book, 'Supertato'. He remembered the story well and drew pictures to support his retelling along with using Pie Corbett actions. Da iawn Kian! frown

 

19th October 2018

 

This weeks Super Star went to Lexi W. Lexi has shown great progress throughout her learning this week and is working really hard. She is also a kind and caring friend who likes to help others. Gwaith da Lexi! frown

 

26th October 2018

 

This week's super star went to Lexi-Jade for her overall improvement and attitude to learning. Lexi has been working really hard over the last few weeks and this hard work can be seen with the work sje has completed. Keep up the hard work Lexi. Da iawn Lexi-Jade!frown

 

9th November 2018

 

This week's super star went to Shat. Shay has been trying really hard with his maths this week especially learning about different shapes. Shay is also a kind and caring little boy and a valued member of the class. Gwaith da Shay!frown

 

16th November 2018

 

This week's super star went to Shayden. Shayden has shown great improvement in the classroom, both with his behaviour and his attitude to learning. He is trying really hard and I know he will continue to do so. Da iawn Shayden!frown

 

23rd November 2018

 

This week's super star went to Kurtis-Jai. Kurtis has worked really well this week with his retelling of the story 'The 3 Little Pigs'. He used actions and time connectives to tell the story and used lots of expressions for different characters. Gwaith da Kurtis!frown

 

30th November 2018

 

This week our super star went Ayse. She comes into school with a smile on her face and is always enthusiastic to learn. Ayse has made great progress in all aspects of school life especially with her letters and sounds work this week. Keep up the hard work Ayse, we iawn! frown

 

11th January 2019

 

This week's super star was awarded to Braydon-James. Braydon has been trying really hard with his maths this week and enjoyed using the numicon to find 'one more & one less'. He found it hard at first but he kept going and was confident by the end of the week. Gwaith da Braydon!  frown

 

18th January 2019

 

This week's super star went to Liam. Liam has worked really hard in maths this week and has made great progress. He is showing confidence when working independently and has also helped other children who were finding things a little tricky. Keep up the good work Liam. Da iawn! frown

15th February 2019

 

Summer was our Superstar this week for amazing answers during our literacy sessions. She gave fantastic adjectives when exploring our senses ready for writing our poem. Mrs Marshall was really proud.frown

Friday 8th March

This week our Superstar has been Summer. She has tried so hard in Literacy and made big improvements in her reading.
