We enjoyed our visit from y6 on Universal Children's Day and we did some activities with them.
Another busy week in year 3J!!
This week we have been introduced to the Romans and we have been studying Roman gods and all about Roman legionaries. We have made our own mosiac patterns and we have used multicoloured tiles to create them.
We have started looking at shape in maths and we have revised 2d shapes. We have also used a ruler to draw accurate rectangles and squares.
Christmas preparation is well underway and we have been learning all the songs for the production.
We are looking forward to going to the Waterfront Museum next week to follow a 'reindeer trail' and listen to the 'Gruffalo's Child'.
Yet again another busy time in our class. The visit to The Waterfront museum was great and we really enjoyed watching the 'The Gruffalo'. We are working hard on our scene for the pantomime and Mrs Jones and Mrs Williams are pleased with us.
This week we had a visit from Mr Nigel Little, who is a story teller and he told us about Christmas all over Europe and how it is slightly different in every country.
We have been making solid shape snowmen in maths and we have been learning about Roman numerals.
Last week we completed our DT project and made our photo frames.
Well done to Leevi for being superstar last week and he was also the purple pot winner!
