Making Our Own Solar System

In small groups, we researched a planet in the Solar System. We then made the planet using paper mache. It was messy but we all really enjoyed making them..popping the balloon was fun!

We began our week, rocketing into Space just like the rockets we made. Richard & Allan in from Dark Sky Wales who told us all about rockets 🚀. We made our very own rockets using paper, and a rubber nose and then went out onto the yard to launch them. Most of the rockets passed the launch, some had to be repaired, while one didn't launch. We had lots of rockets that went high up into the sky and couldn't see them. We had lots of fun and can't wait to do more learning like this later in the term.
