Supermarket Sweep
We started our topic, with a walk around our local community.
We headed out of school to look for different types of shops that we have local to us. We found out that there were many shops, some we can walk to. We did talk about different shops that we knew but they weren't in our local community but we would have needed a car or bus to get there.
After our walk, Year 1 and 2 came together to brainstorm our new topic and think of what we might want to learn...
In groups, we recorded what types of shops we saw... as part of our missions we used JIT to make a graph.
