Our superstar this week Maddie. Maddie has a positive attitude to all of her learning, and puts 100% into all her work. This week, Maddie has impressed us with her Welsh work - beginning to use the third person.

Nan is our superstar this week. Nan joined our school on Monday and has settled into Dosbarth Langland very well, she has joined in all our activities and is looking forward to our new topic.

Nina is our superstar this week for stepping in at the last minute to represent our digital club at the 'Game of Codes' coding finals in Cardiff. Nina presented to a number of judges and joined in lots of tricky coding challenges.

Ruby is our superstar this week for being ambitious and capable and facing challenges within our design and technology project. Not only did Ruby complete her own Anderson shelter through problem solving, she also helped others in class.

Jayden is our superstar this week. Jayden has worked super hard on his Eisteddfod entry this week, writing his own version of the legend of the red dragon of Wales!

Ruby is our superstar this week. Ruby is a role model for all her peers and younger pupils in the school. Ruby has worked extremly hard on her evacuee recount letter this week, imagining what it would have been like as a child during WW2.

Our superstar this week is Oscar. Oscar listened very well on our trip to Brecon WW2 museum, asked great questions and showed interest. He has used the trip to inform his learning in class.

Our superstar this week is Szymon. This week Szymon has been a good role model for his friends in class and the younger children in school. He has worked hard in all his lessons this week!

Our superstar this week is Amelia. This week Amelia has been an ambitious and capable learner, she has worked extremely hard to practise our new Welsh sentence patterns and worked with her partner to have a short coversation. Gwaith da Amelia.

Our superstar this week is Lola. This week Lola has been an ambitious and capable learner, she has returned to school with an eagerness to learn and has challenged herself in maths this week. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to give 100% to every lesson.

Our superstar this week is Michael. This week, Michael has been an ambitious and capable learner, he has worked extremely hard in class and even performed on stage in our concert practise even though he was little nervous.

Our superstar this week is Klaudia. This week, Klaudia has been a creative and enterprising learner, she crated a pinecone keychain to make for our enterprise stall. She persuaded customers to visit our stall, took payments and worked our customers change.

Our superstar this week is Rhodri. Rhodri has been an ethically formed citizen. We had a visit from ADA this week to discuss our carbon footprint. Tony asked us some tricky questions about our world and Rhodri was was firing out the answers (some I didn't know!)

Our superstar this week is Oskar. Oskar has been working extremely hard in maths this week, challenging himself to complete more difficult calculations.

Our superstar this week is Lexi. Lexi has worked extremely hard all half term, she is a fantastic role model and a wonderful head girl. This week, she has helped to organise spooky day, arranged games to play with the younger pupils and created a super eco code poster.

Our superstar this week is Lola. This week, Lola has shown great perseverance during our mathematics assessments. She found some parts tricky but didn't give up! Lola has also worked extremely hard to create a persuasive leaflet for Theatr Na Nog.

Our superstar this week is Armarni. Armarni is always enthusiastic and eager to learn new things. This week, she worked as a team and used her problem solving skills to code and control a robot during our trip to Technocamps showing she is an ambitious and capable learner.

Our superstar this week is Zakk. This week Zakk has shown he is an ambitious and capable learner during our mission sessions, always challenging himself. He has also been a healthy and confident learner showing kindness to his classmates and being a good friend.

Our superstar this week is Natalia for being an ambitious and capable learner. This week Natalia has used the Boss Bendigedig mat to ask and answer questions using Welsh and is beginning to extend her sentences. Natalia also helped other pupils in class to complete the task.

Our first superstar of 2023-24 is Nikola. This week was Nikola's first week in Blaenymaes, after joining year 6. She has settled really well, making new friends and joining in our class activities.
