Spring Term

We now have a new topic which is called Blast off! We will be looking at Space and Superheros. We are already learning lots about Space and so far we have predicted what happened to the crash in our class, explaining who we thought was responsible! We have also focussed on the book 'Alfie's Star' and have explained what we learnt from the book, expressing our favourite parts. 

Autumn Term

During our Autumn term, we learnt about Dinosaurs and Witches and Wizards! Through our Dinosaur topic, we looked at the different parts of a dinosaur and where they could be found. We also made salt dough dinosaur fossils as well as creating fact files of a specific dinosaur. We also had an exciting delivery in class where we needed to use exploration tools to see which dinosaur was in our tuff tray. 

During our Witches and Wizards topic, we learnt about measuring different shape brooms and read instructions on how to make a potion. As well as this, we looked at maths potion questions and had a taste test competent at the end of term. 

These are just some examples of what we have learnt in the Autumn term! We have had lots of fun so far and we can not wait for our next topic!
