Our superstar this week is Maddie! Lots of y5/6 pupils from over Swansea entered a competition to design a mural for the RNLI building in Langland. There were only 14 places in the winners workshop and Maddie's design was chosen! Fabulous work - we can't wait to see her design on the building soon!

Our superstar this week is Charlie! Charlie has worked super hard this week and has worked hard to write a Welsh legend based on a daffodil. He has also created his own mythical creature using clay based on the Welsh artist Laura Ford.

Our superstar this week is Lexi! She has shown he can be an ambitious and capable learning this week during our Literacy sessions! Lexi has learnt the story map so far for our Welsh legend and has even helped to prompt me when I have forgotten the next part!

Our superstar this week is Dominik! Before Christmas, Dominik produced a fabulous moving toy! He worked so hard even when things were a little tricky. Since returning to school this year, myself and Mrs G have both noticed how Dominik is working more independently and trying his best in all lessons!

Our superstar this week is Alan! This term, Alan has achieved the most improved attendance in our class! Last year, Alan's attendance was below 70% and this term he has achieved 100%!

He has also joined in discussions and researched to write a balanced argument around corporal punishments and whether they should be re introduced to schools. #ethicallyinformed

Our superstar this week is Alan for his fantastic commitment to his Ambassador role. As part of his communication ambassador role, Alan helps Mrs Spencer to monitor attendance. This term Alan has improved his attendance achieving 100% for the half term! Super effort! 

This week, Alan also showed his knowledge of the rights of the child and presented at the Swansea University Symposium.

Our superstar this week is Kamil for his team work skills in the football tournament. Kamil showed he was a health and confident individual, he worked with his team to successfully complete the football tournament against other Swansea schools. He had a positive attitude throughout the day!

Our superstar this week is Bonnie! She has been an enterprising and creative contributor this week within her humanities work. Bonnie researched peg dolls and how they were made in Victorian times, then she designed her and made her own. Bonnie overcame challenges when making her peg doll and solved the problem of attaching the materials to her peg.

Our superstar this week is Archie! This week, Archie faced his fear of the 'big pool' in our swimming lesson, and although very reluctant at the start of the lesson to get in, by the end of the lesson he was in the pool and having a go at swimming to the other side. I'm very proud of you Archie.
