Our superstar this week is Ogechi. Ogechi has worked hard all year. She is a kind, caring member of the class, who is always willing to help. She concentrates in lessons and tries her best across all curriculum areas. Well done Ogechi!

Our superstar this week is Chloe. Chloe has worked hard in all lessons this week and had a great day on Thursday at Dylan Thomas. She made new friends and took part in all the transition activities. Well done Chloe!

Again, I cannot choose one individual to be Superstar this week because you are all SUPERSTARS! What an amazing week again in Year 6. From planning, to designing, presenting and voting,  making products and jingles, to finally selling the products in Castle Gardens! The Enterprise Project was a HUGE success and it's all because each and everyone of you worked so hard and worked as a team. Well done Year 6. You have made me a very proud teacher again!

Our superstar this week is Liberty. She is a fantastic role model in school, always works hard and is a polite and helpful young lady. This week, Liberty has worked super hard during our Primary Partners rehearsals and has helped me out when I have forgot the lyrics (which has been quite often ). Well done Liberty!

Our superstar this week is Mohammed. He is working really hard to make the right choices and was an excellent team player in our PE session this week. His strategies led to his team winning all the rounds!

Our superstar this week is Leona. Leona has shown excellent problem solving skills this week and has worked extremely hard! She has also shown kindness to her friends, showing what a caring young lady she is. Well done Leona!

Our superstar this week is Tamzin. Tamzin has been working extremely hard in all lessons and her attendance has improved over the past few weeks! This week, Tamzin was also awarded Mr Davies' (Bishop Gore link teacher) sport star of the week for her excellent teamwork and football skills. Well done Tamzin!! 

World Book Day Superstars

This week, we have two superstars. Liana was awarded superstar for working independently to create a short story using words from our chosen World Book Day book.  Mckenzie was awarded superstar for his wonderful 'Book in a Jar' entry. Mr Dennis found it very hard to choose but decided that Mckenzie's jar was the winner for Y6. Well done!

This week, I am awarding Superstar to the whole class! The pupils were all excellently behaved during our residential and were a credit to the school. Every pupil attended on the Thursday and overcame challenges and fears during the rock climbing and abseiling activities! Well done everyone!

Our superstar this week is Mia. Mia has a positive attitude towards all her work and has used her positivity over the past few weeks to spread awareness of our project 'Homelessness'. During our visit to 'The Wave' this week, her friends nominated her to be the person to be interviewed. She took on this task with ease and spoke passionately about the work Year 6 have been doing and the song that her and the other girls have written and performed! I am very proud of you Mia! Well done!

Our superstar this week is Keeleigh. This week, we have been discussing internet safety and have had a visit from PC Craig. We have looked at different scenarios and discussed ways we use the internet. Keeleigh has taken part in discussion about the positive and negatives of the internet. She used her research to create a short cartoon to share an important message on how to stay 'Cyber Safe' when playing on online games and using social media accounts. Our superstar this week is Cody. Cody has really impressed me this week for not giving up and having a positive attitude. He worked so hard in Maths this week to find fractions of number amounts and worked independently, challenging himself and completing the task! I'm very proud of you Cody!

Our superstar this week is Kayla. Kayla has been awarded superstar for her organisational skills and teamwork this week. In year 6, we are taking part in a project called #wewontrest. This project is based on homelessness and raising awareness. Kayla and her group decided to write a song to raise awareness, she helped write the lyrics and kept her group on task. Well done Kayla!

Our first superstar of 2019 is Adam. Adam joined our class before Christmas and has settled in well. He has been awarded Superstar this week for his fantastic work in Mathematics. Adam has worked independently and completed addition problems using mental and written strategies. Well done Adam!

This week, our superstar is Ella. Ella has shown true dedication to her role in the Christmas concert! She has learnt all her lines off by heart and has offered to help her friend to learn their lines. Ella is a hard working member of the class and is a fantastic role model for the rest of the pupils in school. Well done Ella!

This week, our superstar is Jack. Jack has been working very hard in class this week and has shown focus and commitment to his work. Jack has also been helping the younger KS2 pupils on the playground and has been a good role model, demonstrating excellent behaviour! Well done Jack!

This week, our superstar is Monzr. Monzr took part in Children's Universal Day and worked with his group to teach other classes. The teachers of the classes Monzr visited said how helpful and kind he was towards the younger children. Monzr enjoyed reading stories to the flying start pupils. Well done Monzr!

This week, our superstar is Leah. Leah works hard very in all lessons. Mrs Smith and Mrs G were both extremely impressed with Leah's evacuee letter. She used fantastic expression when reading her poem and presenting on Adobe Spark. Pleas check our class activities page over the half term to see some of the fabulous work produced by Leah and the other Year 6 pupils. Well done Leah!

This week, our superstar is Mimi. Mimi joined us in September and settled well into our class. She has been awarded Superstar of the week for working independently in lessons and completing tasks without any fuss! She has written lovely metaphors and similes during our poetry topic. We are very sad to say goodbye to Mimi but wish her all the best in her new school.

This week the year 6 Superstar of the week was awarded to Caitlin. Caitlin recieved the superstar award for working extremely hard in Mathematics! She has completed her multiplication work and moved onto harder challenges. I have been very impressed! As well as her work in Mathematics, Caitlin has shown dedication to her role as Communication Ambassador and is always willing to help in class and around the school. She gives 100% to every aspect of school life and always has a smile on her face. Well done Caitlin!

This week our superstar is Kegan. Kegan recieved the superstar award for his fabulous literacy work. He thought carefully about how it would have felt to be an evacuee during World War Two and used the events of a lady who was evacuated when she was 8 years old. Kegan has written a letter home, using emotive words and description. It was a pleasure to read! Well done Kegan!
