Harvest Festival
Our School Council decided that this year we would collect food items to donate to Swansea food bank. Our Rights Respecting Ambassadors, organised the letters and contacted Swansea Food Bank to invite them to our assembly.
Some of the Year 6 pupils led our Harvest Festival, we sang songs and Y6 told us why we collect food during harvest time.
Gloria, from Swansea Food Bank, was so grateful for our donations! We collected 195.4kg of food, which equals an amazing 465 MEALS for families in Swansea.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL PUPILS, PARENTS, CARERS and STAFF that donated!

Our new behaviour charter
School Council discussed behaviour in the school and agreed that it could be improved. Last summer we began to discuss a new charter to put in place.
Each class has four Rhodri's on display.
Our purple Rhodri is for:
Positive
Resourceful
Determination
Improvements
Reflective
Effort
Every time each child is on purple their name will be put in to a cup. During superstar assembly Mr Dennis will pick out one child from each class and they will be rewarded with sitting on the purple table and an activity planned by School Council. Check out the purple page to see what kind of things we have done already!
Our Green Rhodri is for everyone to begin each session on. It means we are ready to learn.
Our Pink Rhodri means we need to think, about our behaviour. We must make the right decision or....
We go to our Grey Rhodri. If we are on grey we will go to Mr Dennis or a member of senior management and not return to class until we are ready to learn again. Teachers will tell parents every time we are on grey.
