After a successful half term with Mrs Welsh, we are pleased that we will be continuing with Forest School on Friday afternoons. Ensure your child brings suitable waterproof clothes to wear. Check the class window to see which group your child is in.

Year 2's will be beginning Kerb craft every Thursday morning. They will join the other Year 2's and take part in road safety training. All children will be in class by 10.30am.

We have had lots of fun celebrating and raising money for children in need today. We particularly enjoyed watching the duck race and hoping Captain Quack Sparrow would win.

Massive Thank You to everyone who donated food to Swansea's homeless shelter. Our box was bursting with food and drinks. The children were so proud taking it to assembly.

Trips
To celebrate Film Fortnight we will be going to Vue Cinema to watch Ferdinand on the morning of Tuesday 13th November.
Our Christmas Foundation Phase trip we will be going to Cantref Farm, Brecon on Thursday 20th December. The children will walk through winter wonderland before meeting Father Christmas, make elf passports, make reindeer food, find out if they are on the nice list and be given a golden key to exchange for a present, pet handling and watch Mr M Christmas Pantomime.
We have requested for a £5 deposit before we break up for half term on Friday 26th October. Please speak to myself if you wish to set up a payment plan.
Homework Monday 21nd October
Ed the Eco Dragon needs a new Eco badge. Anything can be included on the badge Eco related. All entries will be judged by the school council and the winner will receive a prize and be announced in Assembly. Good Luck.

To follow our book focus Supertato we have designed our very own super vegetable. Each child was sent home on Friday 12th October with a slip with their chosen vegetable. Please remember to bring in their vegetable so we can begin designing and decorating them this week.
