Tell me a Tale
We read a story called Little Glow to learn about how different families use light for different celebrations. We explored different types of lights in the dark den.
We talked about Bonfire Night and how to keep safe. We made a video to send to Nursery and our families.
We went to Swansea Grand Thetare to watch Room on the Broom.
When we were back in class we decided what our favourite part of the show was and we used puppets to retell the story.
The animation didn't have any words, so we imagined what the characters would be saying to each other.
We have been looking at what we need to make a story and used picture cards to help us.
We have also enjoyed using our mini-me's and familiar places to play in the small world.
We have enjoyed creating adventure stories using the outdoors for inspiration.
The Three Billy Goats Gruff story had a bridge in it so we looked at some pictures of Swansea bridges which had curves.
We then made some bridge artwork using paper curves. We were very proud of how colourful and fabulous they look!
We read The Little Red Hen and followed instructions to make bread rolls. They were tasty!
After reading Supertato, we worked as a group to make our own superhero stories!
We created our own Superveg, named them and decided what their powers would be.
